Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics helps me understand which public pages people visit, how they find the site and whether they click an email contact link. It is loaded only after you select “Allow Google Analytics”. If you decline, the Google tag is not loaded.
When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and visits. The site sets these analytics cookies to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Google receives information such as page visits, browser and device information, and approximate location as part of providing Analytics. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in this site's tag configuration.
The site does not send article drafts, editor activity, sign-in pages, email addresses, email contents, URL query strings or fragments to Google Analytics. Email clicks are recorded as contact actions, not as proof that an enquiry was sent. Referrers are reduced to the referring website's origin.

Changing your choice
Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any public page to allow or decline Google Analytics. Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage for up to 180 days. This preference is not a visitor identifier. Declining after allowing removes this site's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tag. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep Google Analytics off.
Basic cookie-free counts
The site separately keeps aggregate pageview totals, along with AI-page visits and the first conversation click per page visit. These counts store only the page or event total and Dubai date. They do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, referrers or browsing profiles, and remain separate from optional Google Analytics. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.
